About The Position

The Learning Advisor is responsible ensuring customers meet their learning goals for Genetec’s products. The position within the Learning & Education Services department is based at Genetec’s headquarters, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and reports to the Training Coordination Team Leader. You could be part of a dynamic global training team, focused on helping Genetec's ecosystem of partners and customers learn how to achieve their goals using our technologies. Our worldwide team of over 30 dedicated individuals is committed to offering the most effective and engaging instructor-led and hybrid learning options, leveraging state-of-the art learning infrastructure. Your comprehensive training will cover our products and customers, how to navigate our course catalog, as well our team's common tools and processes. You will be accompanied through a comprehensive onboarding by your experienced colleagues and team leader, who will provide guidance and coaching to achieve success in your new role.

Requirements

  • You have experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing role
  • You have strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple concurrent projects
  • You have outstanding communication and interpersonal and skills
  • Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (this role requires interaction with our international collaborators and customers)

Responsibilities

  • Document key account information and training requests using CRM (Customer Relationship Management), LMS (Learning Management System), and related tools
  • Collaborate with internal (courseware, infrastructure) and external departments (sales, customer service) for the successful completion of training projects
  • Serve as a primary contact for custom trainings and key accounts
  • Build relationships with key accounts, identify their needs, and proactively make suggestions to support their continuous learning goals
  • Ensure payment policies are followed correctly, in accordance with the Finance team’s guidance
  • Work with various suppliers (conference spaces, catering, etc.)
  • Prepare local training rooms and online conference session for weekly training courses
  • Work with regional offices to ensure remote facilities have all necessary resources to deliver excellent training
  • Update training information on Genetec’s website, CRM & LMS
  • Deploy training team resources effectively, ensuring timely delivery according to departmental KPIs
  • Ensure customers receive timely and accurate responses to training requests (SLA)
  • Escalate issues requiring assistance or management attention
  • Participate in process automation and continuous improvement
  • Other related tasks
