Requirements

Valid CDL Class A
Clean driving record with no moving violations or DOT reportable accidents in the last three years
Solid understanding of DOT regulations
Proficiency in using GPS systems, including XRS
Adaptability and effective communication skills
Strong time-management skills
Attention-to-detail skills
Physical stamina, including prolonged periods sitting, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, and maneuvering within the truck
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Must successfully complete a background check, MVR, pre-employment lift evaluations, and pre-employment DOT drug screening.

Responsibilities

Operate a tractor-trailer in compliance with state and federal transportation laws, ensuring safety and efficiency on every journey.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, turning in DVIR reports weekly.
Maintain DOT hours of service logs—whether electronic or manual.
Manage time to meet scheduled customer delivery appointments.
Uphold load integrity and handle essential paperwork, including signed invoices and shipping bills of lading.
Build effective relationships with customers and the community.
Regular attendance and performing other duties as needed.
Support internal supply chains with consistent routes and schedules.
