Requirements

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
Clean driving record free of moving violations or DOT reportable accidents in the last three years.
Solid understanding of DOT regulations.
Proficiency in using tools like GPS and other equipment.
Adaptability to all weather conditions while adhering to safety practices and company policies.
Strong communication skills (read, write, and converse in English).
Time-management skills for effective trip planning.
Attention to detail.
Ability to engage in physical tasks, like lifting up to 50 pounds.
2 years of experience (though not required).

Responsibilities

Navigate highways while adhering to state and federal transportation laws.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
Turn in DVIR reports weekly.
Maintain DOT hours of service logs.
Handle essential paperwork such as signed invoices and shipping bills of lading.
Meet scheduled customer delivery appointments while ensuring load integrity.
Build effective relationships within the organization and the community.
Attend scheduled workdays regularly.
Tackle other duties as assigned.
