About The Position

Coordinates the overall operations of an assigned dedicated account, including overseeing drivers and providing customer service, to ensure loads are delivered safely and on time. The role serves as the main point of contact for assigned customers and monitors customer-specific loads from tender through delivery. It also supports driver supervision, freight planning, trailer pool coordination, and compliance with hours-of-service requirements.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced knowledge, with consistent exercise of discretion and judgment.
Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Bachelor's degree, or three to four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Assign loads and routes to drivers based on available hours and customer needs.
Serve as the main point of contact for an assigned customer base and monitor customer-specific loads from tender through delivery.
Perform supervisory responsibilities as needed, including coaching, planning, assigning work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
Communicate customer issues and concerns to appropriate departments.
Monitor trailer pools at assigned customer locations, coordinate trailer movement when necessary, and provide guidance on trailer detention issues.
Validate driver hours of service to facilitate safe and legal load delivery.
Balance driver time-off requests with operational freight needs.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships.
Receive and carry out instructions.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
