About The Position

Coordinates the overall operations of an assigned dedicated account, including overseeing drivers and providing customer service, to ensure loads are delivered safely and timely. The role assigns loads and driver routes, monitors customer-specific shipments from tender through delivery, and helps manage trailer pools and driver availability. It also provides supervisory support to drivers, addresses customer issues, and maintains positive working relationships.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced knowledge applied with consistent discretion and judgment.
Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Bachelor's degree, or three to four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Assigns loads and routes drivers based on available hours and customer needs.
Serves as the main point of contact for an assigned customer base and monitors customer-specific loads from tender through delivery.
Performs supervisory responsibilities as needed, including coaching, planning, assigning work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems involving drivers.
Communicates customer issues and concerns to appropriate departments.
Monitors trailer pools at assigned customer locations, coordinates trailer movement when necessary, and provides guidance on trailer detention issues.
Validates driver hours of service to facilitate safe and legal load delivery.
Balances driver time-off requests with operational freight needs.
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships.
Receives and carries out instructions.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
