This position is responsible for utilizing the decision support tool to identify opportunities, implement best practices, and establish reporting mechanisms that can generate measureable results to meet the needs of managers, directors and senior management. The role involves data collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation to support decision-making at all levels of the organization. The analyst will work with hospital clients to develop analyses related to utilization, cost, profitability, trend, and variance reports, as well as ad hoc requests. They will support decision-makers in using appropriate analytics tools and processes, facilitate strategic decisions through optimized reporting and analysis, and develop/prepare dashboards and routine reports for management distribution. Additionally, the role includes providing basic training and support to external departments, supplying data for external reporting, maintaining clear communication with assigned client hospitals, and managing time and resources efficiently. Reporting anomalies with the DS system to the DS and Cost teams is also a responsibility.
