About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for deburring, buffing and polishing parts as needed. The role operates on the manufacturing floor environments, with potential exposure to noise, machinery, temperature variation, and industrial conditions. Requirements

Basic math, reading, and writing skills at or above the high school level.
Standing and walking 100% of time.
Lifting, reaching, repetitive motion.
Use of hand tools and power tools.
Clear close vision for inspection of parts.
Lifting up to 50 pounds.
Working in a safe and reliable manner.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to stand, sit, bend and kneel without difficulty.
Ability to repeatedly lift/pull/push 50lbs.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.

Nice To Haves

A High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Operating deburring tools such as belt sanders, 90º sander, dyna file time saver, speed head, and other power tools as required.
Inspecting deburred and sanded parts for acceptable quality.
Reading blueprints and understanding where to deburr parts.
Buffing, polishing, and washing parts as required.
Tracking, logging, and proper disposal of all scrap and waste material on a daily basis.
Following procedures as assigned by Supervisor.
Assisting manufacturing with any other duties as time permits.
Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping throughout all work areas.
Performing all other duties as assigned.
Working extended hours when required.
Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
