About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Deburr / Grinder / Part Marker to join our team in an advanced manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for deburring, grinding, and smoothing surfaces of custom steel parts to ensure they meet quality standards prior to secondary operations. The position may work within the Deburr or Welding Department.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for the duration of a full work shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Ability to reach, turn, twist, and walk throughout shift
• Full use of both hands without restrictions

Responsibilities

• Deburr, grind, and smooth metal surfaces on custom steel parts
• Inspect parts for surface defects and ensure quality standards are met
• Select appropriate abrasive belts, wheels, or disks based on specifications and material condition
• Change and maintain abrasive disks, wheels, and belts as needed
• Remove burrs and prepare parts for next production steps
• Operate various electric and air-powered grinders
• Maintain a zero-defect mentality with a commitment to producing high-quality, American-made products
• Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals
