About The Position
PacAero is seeking a Deburr Technician who takes pride in precision, enjoys hands-on work, and understands that the smallest details make the biggest difference. This role is critical in producing precision-machined components that meet the demanding standards of the aerospace and defense industries. The ideal candidate enjoys working with intricate parts, using microscopes and precision tools, and being part of a team that values quality over shortcuts.
Requirements
- Previous experience in deburring, finishing, polishing, or precision manufacturing
- Experience working with small, intricate machined components
- Comfortable using microscopes and precision measuring or inspection equipment
- Strong manual dexterity and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read engineering drawings and follow manufacturing documentation
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Must be able to meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export regulations)
Responsibilities
- Deburr precision-machined metal components using hand tools, rotary tools, files, stones, and specialized equipment
- Inspect parts under microscopes and magnification equipment to ensure cosmetic and dimensional quality
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections without compromising critical dimensions
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, travelers, and specifications
- Identify defects or quality concerns and communicate issues to Quality or Production leadership
- Maintain accurate production documentation
- Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality and efficiency
- Work closely with Machining, Inspection, and Quality teams to ensure customer requirements are met
