We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Services Debt Capital Markets/Syndicate Analyst to join our dynamic team in Greenwich, CT. In this role, you will provide direct support to the Financial Services Group Debt Capital Markets team leadership, including the Group Head and Managing Directors. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright and eager individual to gain valuable experience on a variety of debt capital markets transactions within the financial services sector.

Requirements

  • Recent grad to 1+ year of experience in investment banking, capital markets, or a similar financial services role
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to daily tasks and good communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in S&P Capital IQ and Bloomberg a plus

Responsibilities

  • Track and organize all active and potential debt issuance opportunities for team reference
  • Identify and analyze relevant existing debt securities to use as benchmarks for pricing new debt issuances
  • Maintain a comprehensive record of all new debt issuance activity relevant to the team, including competitor analysis
  • Organize deal and non-deal roadshows
  • Consolidate and analyze real-time investor engagement and sales coverage efforts for new debt offerings to facilitate streamlined internal communication
  • Gauge investor interest in potential debt issuances through outreach and track feedback and initial investment commitments (indications of interest)
  • Support a seamless closing experience for clients by tracking allocation confirmations, promptly distributing closing documents, and diligently ensuring all wire transfers reach the designated account on time
  • Oversee and coordinate the completion of all closing activities for both public and private debt transactions
