About The Position
The Deboss Operator is responsible for maintaining a consistent production rhythm in line with target setup and cycle times. The Operator also ensures that branding quality is maintained according to departmental standards. Reporting to the Department Team Leader, responsibilities include but are not limited to: Follow the workload sequence prepared by the Opener. Perform an initial inspection of the artwork required for the current order. Consistently record setup and processing times for all orders. Efficiently set up and run orders while adhering to established target times. Troubleshoot branding issues and make necessary adjustments. Report any deviations from target times to the Team Leader to address discrepancies. Report any engineering or maintenance-related issues to the Engineering Department immediately and copy the Specialist on communications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all equipment, workstations, and surrounding areas. Possess basic computer skills. Perform all maintenance procedures outlined in the Engineering Maintenance Manual. Review order details and imprint specifications. Communicate with the Packer when ready to begin an order. Complete the setup process and compare against the target setup time. Process the order and compare against the target cycle time. Maintain consistent branding quality. Complete the order and associated reports. Move on to the next order assigned to the station.
