About The Position

This is a student employment position in the Dean's Office of the School of Computing & Engineering. The role involves developing and maintaining a SharePoint site, creating social media content, and assisting with campus events. The position is open to work-study eligible applicants from all class years and academic majors who are eager to learn about the school and contribute to its storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of an SCE SharePoint site for internal QU audiences that focuses on information related to student advising, career development, and organizations
  • Preparing social media posts and campaigns on common platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Planning and preparing for hosting a range of campus events such as Board Meetings, Admissions Open Houses, Career Fairs, and similar special events
  • Other duties and events as come up throughout the academic year
