Job Summary: Assist in ensuring quality classroom management and enforcing school and district policies; Focuses on student attendance and behavior; Shares general administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in educational administration, guidance, counseling or related field
• 1-3 years Teaching or leadership experience in an urban school community
• Teaching Certification/License Educator or Professional license issued by the TN Dept of Education Upon Hire
• Administrator license issued by the TN Dept of Education Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Works with administration to identify activities or conditions that would lead to an unsafe or negative environment for students; Works with teachers and administration to maintain a positive learning environment
• Works with administration to identify students who are consistently off-task and helps create behavioral plans for those students.
• Assists with monitoring Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Assists with discipline referrals.
• Works with athletic coaches and club sponsors to reinforce positive student behavior (if applicable).
• Works closely with Campus Supervisor(s) and/or other faculty and staff to maintain a positive environment in the hallways and cafeteria.
