About The Position

Rocky Mountain Prep (RMP) is a network of public charter schools in Colorado dedicated to providing college preparatory education for historically marginalized students from early childhood through twelfth grade. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least five years of experience supporting behavior in a school environment (this may include classroom teaching experience)
  • Ability to build strong relationships quickly with a variety of stakeholders, including students, families, and staff
  • Strong organizational and self-management skills, with the ability to complete tasks on a deadline
  • Pass a background check
  • Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of school-wide culture systems that promote safety, belonging, and high expectations, including restorative practices and behavior supports
  • Ensure consistent, equitable application of discipline protocols aligned to anti-bias and inclusive practices
  • Conduct frequent classroom walkthroughs to reinforce strong culture, provide feedback, and support joyful, academically focused environments
  • Partner with instructional leaders and teachers to align behavioral expectations with rigorous academic goals
  • Build authentic, trust-based relationships with students and families through home visits, proactive communication, and family partnership
  • Collaborate with MTSS and attendance teams to analyze data and design Tier 1–3 interventions that increase engagement and reduce barriers to success
  • Facilitate character development and social-emotional learning groups that build student agency, identity, and community
  • Respond to behavioral incidents with urgency and care, including mediations, crisis response, and compliance with Title IX protocols
  • Model and coach staff to uphold consistent, culturally responsive practices that sustain a safe, inclusive, and joyful school culture
