About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated trustworthiness.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Advanced computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience as a warranty clerk or similar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process warranty claims.
• Verify criteria required by the factory or distributor.
• Post credits on the computer.
• Track parts by tagging them.
• Arrange for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor, or to be scrapped.
• Follow up with the factory and distributors regarding unpaid claims.
• Maintain a professional relationship with internal technicians and the sales department to help get internal cars through the shop.
• Communicate and obtain approval for all repairs needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
