About The Position

Countryside McDonough is seeking a Dealership Service Technician. We are a privately owned, community-oriented company where team members prioritize customer service, work well with others, and maintain a pleasant and enthusiastic attitude. All team members are treated with dignity and respect and are expected to follow site-specific and brand-specific procedures for consistent and quality customer experiences. Service Technicians perform basic car maintenance, operate computerized equipment for diagnostics and repair, conduct tire and wheel inspections, and handle mounting, dismounting, balancing, and alignments. The role also includes any and all duties as assigned by management. This position requires evening and weekend availability and the ability to work varied hours based on business needs. The company participates in the E-Verify program and this position is subject to a 90-day introductory period, during which all employees are considered temporary and are not eligible for benefits. Performance is reviewed at the end of the introductory period to determine continued employment.

Requirements

Ability to walk and stand continuously
Lift up to 60 lbs
Bend, stoop
Climbing a ladder is required on occasion

Responsibilities

Performing basic car and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluids, and rotating tires
Operated computerized equipment to test, diagnose and repair customer vehicles, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, shop cleanliness and organization
Conducting inspections of tires and wheels replacing and repairing as needed including mounting, dismounting, balancing and all alignments
Plus whatever it takes to be a team member at Countryside
Responsible for exceptional customer service skills
Any and all duties as assigned by a member of management
