The position is on-site and reports to the Business Manager, working with other accountants.

Requirements

1+ years in a dealership environment or a candidate who processes car deals.
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.
Create strong relationships with internal team members.
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace.
Must be able to work on-site.

Responsibilities

Handle daily check and credit card deposits and assist with reconciling the cash sales accounting schedule.
Review deals for accuracy and completeness using the Deal Checklist before submission to the Accounting Processing Center.
Maintain notes on missing or incorrect items in the Booked and Pending report and support compliance tracking.
Work with store teams and Business Managers to implement process changes and ensure revenue recognition.
Help maintain reconciled accounting schedules as assigned by the Business Manager.
Learn the Title & Registration Specialist role to support other accounting responsibilities when needed.
