About The Position

This position involves attending a 6-week training program, 6 hours a day, two days a week, to learn new casino games. The trainee must possess good math skills, dexterity, and the ability to learn quickly, along with excellent guest service skills. Flexible hours are required. Classes are free for qualified applicants and are held in New Buffalo, MI.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass a basic math assessment prior to admittance.
• Obtain and maintain a level 2 Casino Gaming License.
• Attend class consistently; three or more unexcused absences will result in dismissal.
• Be punctual; tardiness will not be accepted, and 10 minutes or later will be considered an unexcused absence for the day.
• Four unexcused tardies will result in permanent exclusion from training.
• Successfully complete a background check (including criminal background check, credit check, and drug screen) to obtain gaming licensure.
• Meet Pokagon Band Gaming Commission level 2 licensing regulations.
