About The Position

An individual must be able to attend classes 6 hours a day, two days a week, for 6 weeks. Must learn new games and be able to work flexible hours. Must have good math skills, dexterity, and ability to learn. Must have excellent guest service skills. Classes will be held in a convenient New Buffalo location beginning January 18, 2022. Games taught include Blackjack, Three Card Poker, and Mississippi Stud. Two convenient class times will be offered on Tuesday and Wednesday: 9 am - 3 pm and 4 pm - 10 pm. Class attendance is required for 6 hours per day, 2 days per week, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Classes are held for 5 weeks, from January 18, 2021, through February 23, 2022. The ability to pass an audition is not a guarantee of an offer for a dealing position. Classes are FREE to qualified applicants.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have good math skills.
Must have dexterity.
Must have the ability to learn.
Basic math assessment required prior to admittance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a level 2 Casino Gaming License.
Three (3) or more day's unexcused absence will be cause for trainee dismissal.
Tardiness will not be accepted; 10 minutes or later is cause for exclusion from class that day.
Four (4) unexcused tardies will be cause for permanent exclusion from training.
Candidates must obtain gaming licensure in accordance with the Pokagon Band Gaming Commission level 2 licensing regulations by successfully completing a background check, prior to beginning employment.
