About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a successful and premier casino entertainment company in the United States, committed to continuous evolution and leadership in the industry. The company focuses on maximizing value for its shareholders, team members, and communities. This role is for a Dealer Trainee, offering free enrollment in a Table Games dealer school. Trainees can learn to deal in as early as 4 weeks and will earn $25 per hour while training. Classes are scheduled Wednesday-Sunday evenings. Upon successful completion of the course, full-time positions are guaranteed. On average, dealer pay, which includes base pay and tips from a tip pool, exceeds $25.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and capable of obtaining a LA Gaming Permit. The duration of the training is dependent on the game type and the total training hours attended per day. Successful completion of the Dealer School is a prerequisite for continued employment as a Dealer.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have energetic, outgoing personality
• No experience is necessary
• Must be able to pass a timed, basic math test
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must be able to perform basic math quickly
• Ability to work all shifts
• Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
