About The Position

The Dealer Trade Driver plays a key role in the automotive dealership by transporting vehicles between dealerships, auction houses, and other designated locations. The driver ensures safe and timely deliveries of vehicles and supports dealership operations by maintaining a high level of customer service and care in handling vehicles.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Attention to Detail to ensure proper handling and documentation of all vehicle transports.
Dependability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage time effectively.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Driving preferred, especially with handling different vehicle types.

Responsibilities

Drive dealership vehicles to and from other dealerships, auction houses, customer locations, or service facilities as directed.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to check for any damage, ensuring that each vehicle is clean and in proper working order before and after transport.
Complete all required paperwork accurately, including delivery confirmations, mileage records, and any relevant vehicle condition reports.
Coordinate with dealership staff to receive instructions and update on delivery status. Report any issues or delays immediately to the supervisor.
Represent the dealership professionally when interacting with other dealerships, vendors, and clients, ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved.
Operate vehicles in a safe, courteous manner, adhering to all traffic laws, dealership policies, and safety guidelines.
