About The Position
Under the direction of a Floor Supervisor, the incumbent operates and conducts the game assigned in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Gaming procedures and internal controls and the rules and procedures of the assigned game. This is an entry-level position. Selected candidates will be called for Informational Sessions/ Interviewing/Hiring Events scheduled for late July & early August.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Gaming school certificate or successful completion of dealing audition required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to calculate mathematical computations quickly and accurately.
- Team-oriented.
- Ability to work any shift, work weekends, work all holidays, and work on peak business dates.
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time (Must be able to stand for one hour period with a twenty minute break).
- The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.
- Frequent leaning, upper and lower arm reaching and slight bending at the waist.
- Must be 18 to attain a State Gaming License.
- Must successfully pass a math test, a chip identification color-blind test, and complete and pass ALL required training.
