Dealer Account Managers are envisioned as dedicated individuals who provide world-class customer service to dealer partners through training and prospecting for business opportunities. This challenging and dynamic field position offers high earnings potential and career advancement opportunities, with a highly incentivized performance-based compensation package that allows motivated individuals to earn a six-figure income or more. This is a full-time, remote-on-the-road position where Account Managers will assist current and future dealer partners in selling more vehicles by financing more customers. Responsibilities include educating and training current dealer partners, acquiring new sources and contacts, managing and consulting on all sales activities and account development within an assigned area, and ensuring the quality and consistency of product and service delivery. The role demands a consultative sales and management approach, with each Dealer Account Manager managing their own dealer base to ensure they understand and can leverage the Westlake Program for growth and success. Candidates should be highly motivated and dedicated, comfortable working in a field environment, and willing to travel extensively within a local market.

Requirements

  • Significant local travel to current and potential clients
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license
  • Automotive, Finance and Sales Experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office (excel, word, outlook)
  • Knowledge of Web Applications

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
  • Previous Outside Sales Experience
  • Knowledge/Experience with the use of DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL

Responsibilities

  • Present and sell company products and services to all levels of management within the dealership
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts made
  • Follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity in both independent and franchise dealers
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts assigned to you
  • Prepare presentations and proposals for all levels of management within in dealership
  • Assist with the preparation of sales contracts by educating the dealer on what is needed for proper verification by Westlake Financial
  • Develop and maintain current client and potential client relationships within the independent franchise dealer communities
  • Develop, maintain and understand sales materials and keep up to date on current financial product knowledge
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events for independent and franchise dealers
