About The Position

You will help structure profitable, compliant transactions that address the needs of internal corporate customers and increase revenue. You will act in a fiduciary capacity, approving and accelerating deals while partnering closely with sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders. You will influence deal outcomes through deal structuring, documentation, and in-quarter reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk
  • Experience drafting and analyzing binding sales agreements
  • Experience structuring multi-element contracts including subscriptions, licenses, services, and support
  • Proficient in software revenue recognition accounting (SOP 97-2 and related standards)
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day deal approval process and meet with sales teams to document and communicate deal value
  • Draft and certify customer contracts
  • Ensure transactions adhere to the organization's revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines
  • Prepare in-quarter deal status reports and communications to management
  • Interact with internal stakeholders including Legal, Sales Operations, Sales Finance, Revenue Assurance, Order Management, Credit, and business units
  • Perform to specified metrics and service levels and recommend process improvements
