About The Position

You will structure profitable and compliant transactions that enable the sales organization to close deals faster and maximize revenue for the client. You will partner with sales, legal, finance, order management, and other cross-functional teams to manage approvals, certify contracts, and ensure adherence to revenue recognition and operational policies. This role is Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite in Lehi (Tues–Thurs) with remote work Mon and Fri.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk
  • Experience drafting and analyzing binding sales agreements
  • Experience structuring multi-element contracts (subscriptions, licenses, services, support)
  • Proficiency in software revenue recognition accounting (including SOP 97-2 or related guidance)
  • Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day deal approval process and act as first-line approver for structured transactions
  • Meet with sales teams to identify customer business issues and craft transactions that meet both the client's requirements and customer needs
  • Draft and certify customer contracts and ensure compliance with policy and procedures
  • Communicate deal value via documented business cases to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ensure transactions adhere to internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines
  • Prepare in-quarter deal status updates and communicate progress to management
  • Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements to increase effectiveness and productivity
