About The Position

You will help structure profitable, compliant transactions that meet internal stakeholders' needs and accelerate deal closures. You will work closely with sales, legal, finance, and operations teams to manage approvals and ensure revenue recognition and policy compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk
  • Experience drafting and analyzing binding sales agreements
  • Experience structuring multi-element contracts including subscriptions, licenses, services, and support
  • Proficient in software revenue recognition accounting, SOP 97-2, and related guidance
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience interacting with Legal, Order Management, Credit, Revenue Assurance, or similar cross-functional groups

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day deal approval process and act in a fiduciary capacity for first-line approvals
  • Meet with sales teams to identify customer business issues and structure transactions that meet both company requirements and customer needs
  • Draft and certify customer contracts and analyze binding sales agreements
  • Communicate deal value via documented business cases with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ensure transactions adhere to internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines
  • Prepare in-quarter deal status updates and communications to management
  • Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements to increase effectiveness and productivity
