Requirements

  • Experience in gathering, reviewing, and analyzing large volumes of information and records to reach well supported decisions based on established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage a caseload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to conduct ongoing phone communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with PCs and position related software applications.
  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple established deadlines.
  • Must pass HSPD 12 federal credentialing.
  • This position is designated as sensitive under Va. Code § 2.2 1201.1.
  • The Social Security Administration (SSA) will conduct a fingerprint based criminal history check and credentialing process for all final candidates.
  • All job offers are contingent upon successfully passing the required SSA background process.

  • Training and/or experience analyzing and interpreting complex policies, procedures, or regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Completion of an onboarding training program is required before maintaining a caseload.
  • Other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
  • Completes duties and/or projects as needed or directed by supervisor.
