About The Position

We are seeking a DCS Operator to join our Liquids Pipelines team at our Ingleside Terminal in Texas. In this role, you will be at the heart of our terminal operations — responsible for monitoring and controlling the movement of product through facility pipelines, analyzing changing conditions and alarms, and making the necessary adjustments that keep our system performing safely and efficiently. Your precision and vigilance directly protect our employees, customers, and the communities we serve. You'll operate within a dynamic, safety-first control room environment alongside a strong team of operations professionals. Once trained, you will have autonomous authority to control the flow of product in the terminal under normal, abnormal, and emergency conditions — a responsibility that reflects the trust we place in our people and the real impact of your expertise.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or completed GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience (e.g., production, loading, or unit maintenance).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills, with proficiency in English and Microsoft Office.
  • Available for rotating shifts, overtime, callouts, and Emergency Response Team participation.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including the use of a respirator, and able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
  • Must successfully obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) as required by the Transportation Security Administration at the start of employment.
  • Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Responsibilities

  • Control product movements through Delta V, monitoring pressures, temperatures, volumes, and system performance to ensure safe, efficient operations.
  • Respond to Delta V alarms and monitor pipelines, tank levels, and deliveries in accordance with operating procedures.
  • Coordinate maintenance needs and communicate schedule deviations with operations teams and shipper control rooms.
  • Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and ensure effective communication across teams and shift changes.
