About The Position

At Samsung Austin Semiconductor’s Taylor site, the DC Test Engineer works with advanced technologies and devices and provides critical feedback to the fab based on DC test results. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate test results through program and equipment troubleshooting, device characterization, and benchmarking with Samsung Korea. All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor are full-time and on-site.

Requirements

• Knowledge of test structures and test methodologies.
• Ability to interpret and modify code on various platforms, including Basic, PERL, and UNIX.
• Integrity, good teamwork and communication skills, flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency on the job are required.

Nice To Haves

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Experience in a wafer probe manufacturing environment is recommended.
• Keysight ATE and TEL prober knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Optimize test environment programs for DC testers.
• Ensure accurate and repeatable test results.
• Support special testing requests from Samsung Korea or internal T1 YE.
• Support tool installation and qualifications.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment problems.
• Help sustain floor operations.
