About The Position

Ferguson is looking for a DC Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, compliant, and efficient warehousing services, including material storage, equipment maintenance, and repairs. The supervisor will coordinate various warehouse functions such as receiving, storage, inventory control, quality control, spare part distribution, and component part support, while also ensuring compliance with company policies and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) standards. The position involves providing daily supervision, basic skills training, coaching, and mentoring to a team of direct reports. Additionally, the supervisor will schedule repairs for warehouse maintenance, including company vehicles and forklifts, and contribute to developing replenishment plans for equipment. Adherence to company compliance and HSE policies, procedures, and requirements, along with regular and reliable attendance, are essential. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience.
  • Experience in warehousing services.
  • Knowledge of storage of materials and repairs and maintenance of equipment.
  • Ability to coordinate warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, quality control, spare part distribution and component part support.
  • Understanding of compliance tasks.
  • Ability to ensure the safe and proper storage of materials.
  • Skills in providing basic skills training, coaching and mentoring.
  • Ability to schedule repairs for warehouse maintenance.
  • Familiarity with developing replenishment plans for equipment.
  • Adherence to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
