About The Position
The DC Photo Studio Assistant handles photo samples for upcoming eCommerce and marketing shoots, including preparing, styling, and repackaging products. The role maintains the product log used to track studio inventory and support access by different teams. The assistant also supports the photographer during product shoots and helps organize the studio and styling areas. This position is based on site at Pacsun’s Groveport, Ohio Distribution Center.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Google Sheets.
- One year of sample coordinating or styling experience.
- Basic photography skills required to shoot.
- Intermediate-level proficiency with Capture One.
- Ability to work as a team member.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and style products, including steaming garments, tying shoes, preparing hung shirts, and repackaging and boxing items for the distribution center and headquarters.
- Coordinate with the Photo Sample Coordinator to request and manage samples.
- Keep the Sample Doc and launch-calendar SKUs up to date so priority styles are prepared first.
- Assist the photographer with lighting and camera equipment.
- Assist with photographing products such as tees, jewelry, shoes, and hats.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams at headquarters.
- Organize the studio, incoming and outgoing product samples, the prep station, and materials.
- Respond promptly to urgent requests for high-priority projects.
