About The Position

The DC Photo Studio Assistant handles photo samples by prepping and styling products for upcoming eCommerce and marketing photo shoots and repackaging samples afterward. The role maintains the product log used to track studio inventory and make it accessible to different teams. The assistant also supports the photographer during product shoots and helps keep the studio and styling areas organized. This position is based on site at Pacsun’s Groveport, Ohio Distribution Center and operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Google Sheets.
• One year of sample coordinating or styling experience.
• Basic photography skills required to shoot.
• Intermediate-level user of Capture One.
• Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and style products, including steaming items, tying shoes, preparing hung shirts, and repackaging and boxing items for shipment to the Distribution Center and headquarters.
• Coordinate with the Photo Sample Coordinator to request and manage samples.
• Keep the Sample Doc and launch calendar SKUs current and prioritize preparation of priority styles.
• Assist the photographer with lighting and camera equipment.
• Assist with photographing products such as tees, jewelry, shoes, and hats.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams at headquarters.
• Organize the studio, incoming and outgoing product samples, prep station, and materials.
• Respond swiftly to urgent requests for high-priority projects.
