About The Position

JAM Industries is seeking a DC Management Supervisor to join their Operations division in Southaven. This role involves overseeing teams of DC associates, ensuring high-quality customer service, and driving continuous improvement in productivity and quality within the warehouse environment. The company, established in 1972, is a major distributor of consumer electronics, pro-audio equipment, and musical instruments.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Must have experience driving various forklift equipment, pallet jack and RF Scanners.
  • Must be able to perform in a high demand, time-sensitive environment.
  • Must be able to multi-task while demonstrating an even temperament.
  • Must have a dynamic personality, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to resolve conflict effectively.
  • Must pay close attention to detail and be committed to “Getting It Right The First Time”.
  • Must be self directed, driven and self-motivated.
  • Must have experience using JD Edwards or a similar WMS.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or a GED.
  • Demonstrated organizational ability and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team as well as autonomously.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access)

Responsibilities

  • Give work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of all work to direct reports.

  • Works closely with other department leaders to resolve issues and coordinate shipments.
  • Alerts management of any critical or potentially critical issues.
  • Demonstrate responsibility and compliance with all safety and quality policies and standards.
  • May assist other departments as needed.
