About The Position
TBC Corporation is hiring newly experienced and seasoned warehouse associates for a full-time career. The DC Associate performs operational activities in a Distribution Center warehouse to support efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders and receipt of replenishment products. The role operates material handling equipment and uses radio frequency technology while handling, organizing, inspecting, picking, staging, and loading products. Associates also support inventory activities, workplace sanitation, safety compliance, customer service, and DC profitability.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Safety-first mentality.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds while bending and twisting, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
- Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification.
- Experience with RF scanners.
- Prior distribution center experience.
- Prior material handling equipment experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate various material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products.
- Unload and put away products using radio frequency (RF) technology.
- Inspect inbound shipments for overages and shortages (OSD).
- Pick and stage products.
- Load trucks.
- Maintain product organization in the warehouse.
- Assist the center in optimizing operations and customer service to achieve its business plan and DC profitability.
- Participate in cycle counts or physical inventory processes as required.
- Maintain a clean work area and assist with overall DC sanitation.
- Complete MHE reports as required by company policy and OSHA regulations.
- Perform tasks as defined by the Supervisor or Center Manager, and other duties as assigned or requested.
- Abide by all federal, state, and local laws.
