About The Position

The DC Associate performs operational activities within a distribution center warehouse to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately and to receive replenishment product efficiently and accurately. The position operates material handling equipment, uses radio-frequency technology to handle products, and helps maintain warehouse organization, sanitation, safety, and customer service. TBC Corporation is hiring newly experienced and seasoned warehouse associates for a full-time career opportunity.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively while bending and twisting, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
• Maintain a safety-first mentality.
• Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners preferred.
• Prior distribution center experience preferred.
• Prior material handling equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate various material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently.
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of products.
• Unload and put away product using radio-frequency (RF) technology.
• Inspect inbound shipments for overages and shortages (OSD).
• Pick and stage product.
• Load trucks.
• Maintain product organization in the warehouse.
• Assist the center in optimizing operations and customer service to achieve its business plan and distribution center profitability.
• Participate in cycle counts or physical inventory processes as required.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist with overall distribution center sanitation.
• Complete MHE reports as required by company policy and OSHA regulations.
• Perform tasks defined by the supervisor or center manager, as well as other duties assigned or requested.
• Abide by all federal, state, and local laws.
