About The Position

The DC Associate performs operational activities within a distribution center warehouse to support efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders and receipt of replenishment products. The role includes operating material handling equipment, handling and inspecting products, and maintaining warehouse organization, cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. TBC Corporation is hiring newly experienced and seasoned warehouse associates for a full-time career opportunity.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively while bending and twisting, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
• Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners preferred.
• Prior distribution center experience preferred.
• Prior material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Safety-first mentality.

Responsibilities

• Operate various material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently.
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of products.
• Unload and put away product using radio frequency (RF) technology.
• Inspect inbound product for overages and shortages (OSD).
• Pick and stage product.
• Load trucks.
• Maintain product organization in the warehouse.
• Help optimize distribution center operations and customer service to achieve the business plan and distribution center profitability.
• Participate in cycle counts or physical inventory as required.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist with overall distribution center sanitation.
• Complete MHE reports as required by company policy and OSHA regulations.
• Perform tasks defined by the Supervisor or Center Manager, along with other duties as assigned or requested.
• Abide by all federal, state, and local laws.
