About The Position

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee and Chicago is hiring daytime team members, including cashiers, production associates, donation attendants, and sales floor associates. The starting rate is $15.00 per hour. Team members support Goodwill’s mission by providing customer service and helping generate resources that support people facing barriers to employment.

Production Associates price donated items according to pricing guidelines and goals, helping maintain an efficient flow of donations to the sales floor. Donation Attendants greet and thank donors, accept donations, and sort items to keep the production area organized. Sales Floor Associates organize merchandise and assist customers in finding items, answer questions, and help create a positive shopping experience. Cashiers build customer relationships, accurately process sales, and explain how purchases help people get jobs.

The starting rate is $15.00 per hour; compensation placement considers education, experience, internal equity, market demands, and other qualifying criteria. Some roles may be eligible for an incentive plan, subject to its terms and conditions.

Requirements

• One year of customer service, retail, or production experience is preferred.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift while maintaining a customer service mindset.
• Donation Attendants must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds and maintain customer service standards when interacting with donors.
