About The Position

Senior Helpers of Las Vegas is hiring compassionate, dedicated, and reliable caregivers for daytime openings. The role provides non-medical in-home care to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Caregivers offer companionship, assist with everyday activities, prepare meals, and document clients’ physical and behavioral well-being. Requirements

Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel locally to client homes.
Ability to pass state and federal background checks and a drug screening.
Current TB test and physical exam before the start date.
CPR and First Aid certification; the employer can guide candidates in obtaining these.
Two professional and two personal references.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Valid authorization to work in the United States.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

One year of PCA or Home Health Aide experience; the employer provides comprehensive training for suitable candidates without this experience.

Responsibilities

Provide warm companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
Support clients in favorite pastimes, such as board games and light gardening.
Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
Assist with activities of daily living, including walking stability and dressing.
Document daily updates on clients’ physical and behavioral well-being.
