About The Position
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Daycare Cook/Nutritionist for our top-rated school in Mint Hill. This role offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, providing an opportunity to have fun and make a difference every day. The pay range is $17-$19 per hour, based on experience, education, and credentials.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for large group food service, preferably in a childcare center.
- ServSafe certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and distributes meals/snacks for children and staff according to guidelines and provided menus.
- Follows daily menu that incorporates USDA, licensing and/or health department regulations.
- Must be willing to work in the classroom to cover breaks.
- Ensures safe food preparations and proper sanitation methods are used and maintains a safe kitchen/pantry area.
- Maintains inventory of food and supplies.
