Daycare Assistant Teacher- Closing Shift
About The Position
The Learning Experience is hiring an Assistant Teacher for an early childhood academic childcare center serving children from infancy through preschool. The role supports joyful, engaging, and age-appropriate learning that helps children learn, play, and grow. The assistant teacher helps maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom, supports children’s development, communicates with families, and collaborates with fellow teachers. This position requires availability until 6:30–6:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
- Must be available to work until 6:30–6:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Nice To Haves
- Early childhood education coursework.
- At least one year of childcare experience.
Responsibilities
- Help deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Follow TLE standards and protocols to keep classrooms clean, safe, and organized.
- Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
