About The Position

This role involves actively planning and implementing daily psycho-educational activities tailored to the therapeutic needs of both group and individual clients. The professional will assist in monitoring and progressing through each client's individualized treatment plan, as outlined in their Person-Centered Plan, by consistently role-modeling and teaching the program model. Adherence to all Focus Day Treatment and respective school system policies and procedures is required. The position also includes crisis management using the designated chain of command call tree, facilitating multi-family night events, and contributing to program quality improvement, including health and safety. A key aspect is participating positively within a team dynamic with clients, families, co-workers, and school personnel. Professionalism in all work areas, including client and co-worker relationships, is essential. The role requires completing accurate client daily note documentation within 12 hours of service, participating in monthly Clinical Learning Forums and other staff meetings, and engaging in ongoing training. The professional will provide line-of-sight supervision for clients during day treatment and assist school personnel in implementing academic curriculum while fostering a positive and therapeutic learning environment. Other duties as assigned will be part of the role. All employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement daily psycho-educational activities.

  • Attend, facilitate, and co-facilitate multi-family night events.
  • Participate in and provide positive feedback for program quality improvement, including health and safety.
  • Participate in a positive manner within a team dynamic.
  • Complete accurate client daily note documentation within 12 hours of the day of service.
  • Participate in monthly Clinical Learning Forums and other staff meetings.
  • Participate in ongoing training scheduled by administration.
  • Provide line of sight supervision for clients during day treatment.
  • Assist school personnel in the implementation of academic curriculum and creating a positive and therapeutic learning environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
