This role involves actively planning and implementing daily psycho-educational activities tailored to the therapeutic needs of group and individual clients. The para-professional will assist in monitoring and progressing through each client's individualized treatment plan by role-modeling and consistently teaching the program model. Adherence to all Focus Day Treatment and respective school system policies and procedures is required. The position also includes crisis management using the designated chain of command, facilitating multi-family night events, and contributing to program quality improvement. A positive team dynamic with clients, families, co-workers, and school personnel is essential. Professionalism in all aspects of work, including client and co-worker relationships, is expected. Accurate client daily note documentation must be completed within 12 hours of service. Participation in monthly Clinical Learning Forums, other staff meetings, and ongoing training is mandatory. The role requires providing line-of-sight supervision for clients during day treatment and assisting school personnel with academic curriculum implementation and fostering a positive, therapeutic learning environment. Other duties as assigned.
