This role involves actively planning and implementing daily psycho-educational activities tailored to the therapeutic needs of group and individual clients. The para-professional will assist in monitoring and progressing through each client's individualized treatment plan by role-modeling and consistently teaching the program model. Adherence to all Focus Day Treatment and respective school system policies and procedures is required. The position also includes crisis management using the designated chain of command, facilitating multi-family events, and contributing to program quality improvement. Teamwork with clients, families, co-workers, and school personnel is essential, as is maintaining professionalism in all interactions. Accurate client daily note documentation within 12 hours of service is mandatory. Participation in clinical learning forums, staff meetings, and ongoing training is expected. The role requires providing line-of-sight supervision for clients during day treatment and assisting school personnel with academic curriculum implementation and fostering a positive learning environment. Other duties as assigned.
