About The Position

Youth Haven Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Qualified Professionals to join our established Day Treatment (DTX) Program in Asheboro, NC. As our program continues to provide high-quality behavioral health services to children and adolescents, we are looking to fill an important role on our clinical team. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field is required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of documented experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral health or mental health needs.
  • Valid North Carolina driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance.
  • Ability to travel as needed within the service area.

Responsibilities

  • Complete client intakes, assessments, Person-Centered Plans (PCPs), and service authorizations and reauthorizations.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including consent forms, intake paperwork, progress notes, and treatment records.
  • Complete NC TOPPS assessments, pre- and post-outcome measures, discharge documentation, Service Authorization Requests (SARs), and other required program documentation.
  • Coordinate services and manage assigned caseloads to ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, school personnel, and community providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Assist with identifying appropriate placements and complete required placement documentation when applicable.
  • Monitor service authorizations and verify insurance eligibility on a monthly basis.
  • Provide strength-based, recovery-oriented interventions that promote emotional regulation, healthy coping skills, and improved daily functioning.
  • Support youth in developing life skills, social skills, and behavioral strategies that foster success in school, home, and community settings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support program operations.
