About The Position

Wall Residences is seeking a Day Services Program Manager for their Wall Community Options and Group Day Programs in the Roanoke Valley area. This role involves making a difference in the lives of people who experience disabilities. The program encompasses community engagement, community coaching, and group day activities. A successful candidate will have a clinical background with knowledge of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports, the ability to build relationships with staff, individuals receiving services, and their families, and experience connecting people with meaningful community activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field.
Clinical background.
Working knowledge of person-centered service development.
Working knowledge of positive behavior supports.
Home office and internet access required.
Active driver's license with a good driving record.
Pass a criminal background check with acceptable results.
Provide excellent references.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities (DD).
Two years' experience supervising employees.

Responsibilities

Manage Day Services Programs including Community Options and Group Day Programs.
Develop supportive relationships with direct care support staff, individuals receiving services, and their families.
Connect individuals with meaningful community activities.
Act as a mandated reporter of abuse and neglect for individuals with disabilities.
