About The Position
Chrysalis provides support services for adults with intellectual and medical needs. This role requires working in stress-filled and safety-sensitive environments, making crucial decisions regarding care and treatment, and communicating those decisions effectively to the individual's team. As a Day Service Professional, you will be a role-model, mentor, and friend, making a difference daily.
Requirements
- Must be able to work from 8 am to 4 pm
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Capable of communicating well in both verbal and written form
- Able to complete all assigned program documentation accurately and within the allotted time frames
- Have good judgment and able to handle crisis situations
- Have a positive attitude
- Driving Required
Responsibilities
- Work hand in hand with individuals at the Day Program and in the community.
- Ensure individuals are safe, respected, mentored, and having fun.
- Participate in activities with individuals such as going to movies, fishing, bowling, and playing games.
- Create opportunities for individuals to increase their quality of life.
