About The Position

Help at Home is hiring a Home Care Aide to provide in-home support to clients, including assistance with daily activities and transportation needs. The role requires a compassionate and reliable individual with a valid driver’s license, insurance, and a safe, reliable vehicle. Caregivers will help clients with light housekeeping, personal activities like dressing and meal assistance, and provide safe transportation for errands, grocery shopping, and appointments. This position offers flexible scheduling and is a meaningful way to support seniors in the community.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license or ID
Active Insurance in your name
Access to reliable transportation
Comfortable driving clients of all mobility levels
Ability to assist clients in and out of vehicles as needed
STNA OR 1 year of supervised employment experience as a home health aide or nurse aide OR Completion of a Training and Competency Evaluation Program that lasted at least 30 hours and covered the required topics.
Be in good physical health, including documentation of a tuberculosis test within six (6) months prior to the first assignment (where required).
Dedication to professional development, including organizational and state-required training.
Comply with state background screening requirements.

Responsibilities

Light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning
Personal activities such as dressing, grooming, and assisting with meals
Provide Safe and timely transportation to run errands, grocery shopping, and/or accompanying your clients to appointments.
Safely transport clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
Support multiple clients in a single day (for full-time schedules).
