About The Position

Aptiv is seeking a part-time Day Services Associate in Lancaster, Wisconsin. The role supports individuals with disabilities as they develop life skills, explore interests, build confidence, and work toward personal goals and greater independence. Associates work with a group of individuals to plan and lead engaging activities, provide support with personal care and daily routines, and encourage self-advocacy and independence. The position offers opportunities to build skills and form meaningful relationships as part of a supportive team. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with some flexibility in start and end times. Associates generally work 10–29 hours per week, depending on employment status and program needs. Full shifts are expected, and days and hours may occasionally vary due to program and transportation needs. The listed hourly rate is $15.85.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
Access to reliable non-public transportation with required insurance coverage.
Flexibility in scheduling and availability to work full shifts.
Ability to operate computer equipment.
Knowledge of software packages, including Office Windows applications 2007 and above.

Plan and lead hands-on activities, including art and creative projects, exercise and wellness, daily living skills, music, science and exploration, and community outings.
Provide support with personal care and daily routines.
Help individuals develop self-advocacy skills, confidence, and independence.
Encourage individuals to try new things, learn skills, reach goals, and celebrate accomplishments.
Work collaboratively with team members.
