About The Position

As a Day Program Professional, you will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and autism in a structured daytime setting. You will lead engaging activities, build skills, promote independence, and encourage community inclusion. The role includes supporting individuals during program hours, transportation, and community outings, while ensuring their health, safety, and dignity. Personal care and medication administration may be required, with training provided. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license.
GED or High School Diploma.
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Lead structured social, recreational, and community-based activities.
Support individuals in building independence, social skills, and daily living skills.
Implement individual service plans and support progress toward personal goals.
Ensure individuals’ health, safety, and dignity during program hours, transportation, and community outings.
Provide personal care and administer medications as needed.
Promote inclusion and positive community engagement.
Use crisis prevention and intervention strategies to support individuals safely.
Complete required documentation, including daily logs and incident reports.
Transport individuals and supervise activities in community settings.
Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment.
