This role is responsible for advancing the mission and values of Archway Programs by ensuring program resources meet individual needs, promoting ethical conduct, and participating in quality improvement. The position involves assisting Day Program participants with vocational skill development, including coaching, developing volunteer opportunities, and soft skill building. Responsibilities also include safely transporting participants using agency vehicles, collaborating with residential programs for consistent care, and assisting in the development and planning of Day Program activities. Effective communication with participants, families, caregivers, and colleagues is essential. The role supports individuals in building self-esteem and social capital, promoting community inclusion, and developing peer relationships. Participation in Individual Support Plan (ISP) development and meetings is required. The position may involve serving as a shift supervisor, administering medication as directed, and attending all required staff meetings and training. Compliance with Archway Programs policies, DDD/DHS licensing standards, and accurate completion of all required paperwork are mandatory. The role also involves cooperating with licensing, inspection, and investigation processes by relevant state agencies.
