About The Position

HES Facilities Management is hiring a part-time Day Porter (Custodian) to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned facility areas. The position is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and pays $21.30. General Cleaners perform a range of cleaning duties to maintain the facility’s daily cleanliness in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Have an excellent work history.

Work efficiently and with attention to detail in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
Have reliable transportation.
Pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

High school degree (preferred but not required).
Previous cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Sweep, dust, dust mop, damp mop, and vacuum assigned areas.
Extract carpet and strip and wax floors.
Remove trash and recycling.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
Polish outside areas within 10 feet of entryways.
Wash windows and remove snow and ice.
Clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry glass, interior glass, countertops, chalkboards, whiteboards, blinds, and light fixtures.
Perform other duties as directed by the custodial supervisor or designated representative.
